Having an exhibition at Form Studio and Gallery in Queanbeyan gave me the excuse to spend time in the Canberra and Monaro area. Lake George always fascinates and the landscape around Bungendore is wonderful. It gave me the opportunity to discover artists, visit galleries such as Beaver Gallery and Old Parliament House and feed the spirit, something every artist should try to do. I visited the Drill Hall to see John R Walker’s exhibition, Kirsten Coelho’s amazing ceramic exhibition ‘In the Falling Light’ and delighted in Sidney Nolan’s Riverbend work comprising 9 panels. It was wonderful to spend time at the Canberra Glassworks and enjoy the Hot Shop and the working areas behind. I hope you enjoy the images from the Glassworks and the Drill Hall Gallery.
