How it happened.
I’d met Alex at the Artist Store in Katoomba as he has set up a business Cutters making quality stretchers. I was needing some canvases, he was a friendly guy, the canvases I ordered were good and we chatted.
He had a request. He wanted to do interviews with artists. Would I be interested. I said yes, why not I thought. He texted and said what about Saturday? I said sure I’m free. So we had a chat in the studio. We talked about many things, or it would be truthful to say I did. Travelling overland in the 70’s, what had informed my art practice and much more than in the video. I appreciated the opportunity Alex gave me.
Here it is.
