Back from the Flinders Ranges – almost in one piece

It’s been frustrating. It’s been annoying. And downright inconvenient! I will need to wear a leg brace while the cracked patella heals. On a recent short art retreat in the Flinders Ranges I did a swan dive at Agorichina over a log in the dark  to end up with a damaged knee (swelled and wouldn’t bend) and badly grazed hand.  Bush medicine was applied and I stayed on the tour in a small bus over dirt roads for the next few days. The Flinders Ranges was wonderful and I want to go back and take more time to totally immerse myself in the environment, but this time without injuries. Managed a few small works before my close inspection of the ground and they will be in the exhibition Land : Sky at Ben Roberts cafe and Gallery, Lawson to be opened by Adele Weiss on 31st October at 2pm. Hope you can join me there.
