It’s always good to feed the personal art muse and recently I visited the Grayson Perry exhibition ‘My Pretty Little Art Career’ at the MCA Sydney. I didn’t know what to expect. And was intrigued. He has an extensive art practice. Pottery, textiles, etchings, drawings, sculptures and tapestries. Huge tapestries that tell a morality tale.
And his art serves as a point of commentary for him on art, life and it’s values. I had a great time looking at the work, then returning to see more and read more within the work. This is an exhibition worth visiting.
