It’s been a little frustrating in one way over the last month. Our NBN internet dropped out 2 February just as I had shifted my web page to a new hosting platform and I was bright eyed and bushy tailed to post from the web, to update images and review webpage content. So I had to wait. Until the 28 February when we were again connected to the internet and the NBN.
But gotta look on the bright side. It’s not all bad. I’ve spent more time getting to know the neighbours. I now know the staff and which cafes in Katoomba have free wifi – Thunderbird at the bottom of Katoomba Street – that Il Postinos in Wentworth Falls have great cakes and meals and the library at Katoomba has free internet for a 2 hour period a day. We have found out about how NBN actually works and what the weakness of the service delivery is – it’s all about the quality of the telephone lines in the upper mountains – and finding people within NBN who have supported us. And Susan Templeman our Federal member who has ensured our issues were not dropped. Thank you all.
And for the moment I can get back to social media, enjoy working on my webpage once again and can relax in the studio knowing I can stroll to the computer and communicate with the world once again.
